Well, the time has finally come! I'll be heading out to the airport around 8 am, and off to Russia at 11:10.
I decided that the best way to avoid jetlag was to beat it at its own game, so i've stayed up all night (got to watch Quantum of Solace as part of the bargain) and i figured i'd pop off a quick blog before i forget :-)

Assuming that all goes according to plan, i should be in Izhevsk by Sunday around 12pm (11pm on Sat, phx time) and I start teaching on Monday!
For better or worse, this trip is (almost) officially on its way!
